Frequently asked questions.

Do I need a referral to see one of the doctors?

To arrange an appointment with one of our doctors we must first receive a valid referral letter from your GP or referring doctor. Once this has been received we will contact you to schedule an appointment.

How much does an appointment cost?

The fees vary from doctor to doctor and the duration of the appointment required. Please phone our office and we can discuss the fees applicable specific to your need.

What is the waiting time for a new patient?

This can vary from doctor to doctor and the urgency of the appointment required. Once we have received the referral from your GP, it will be passed on to the doctor and triaged on urgency. We also have a cancellation list, so please advise us if you would like to be notified if an earlier appointment becomes available.

What do I do if I need to reschedule or cancel?

Please phone our office as soon as possible on 03 5222 2199. Bookings cancelled within 2 working days of an appointment or failure to turn up, will incur a cancellation fee.

Where can I park?

On street parking is available in surrounding streets.

Do I get a Medicare rebate?

Yes, all appointments where the patient (child for paediatrician) attends and we have received an active referral, are eligible for a Medicare rebate. If you pay your account in full, we can process this online at the time of your appointment. You should receive your rebate into your nominated account within 24 hours.

Do you bulk-bill?

We do not bulk bill, however some doctors may offer a discount for a Family Health Care Card. Please ask at reception when booking or paying your account.

How long is an appointment?

Depending on which doctor you are seeing and the reason for your visit, this will vary the length of time for your appointment. We will confirm the appointment duration upon making you an appointment. Please arrive 5 minutes early for your appointment.
