Dr B M Jenner OAM offers medical practitioners his expertise as a coach and mentor with over 40 years of experience in Consultant Paediatric and Family Therapy Practice. He excels in providing support for complex medical and family dynamic situations, specializing in Neurodevelopmental and Behavioural Paediatrics, Child Psychiatry, ADHD, Family Issues, Incontinence, and Insomnia. Dr Jenner's guidance is based on his extensive clinical experience, evidence base, and the application of structural, psychodynamic, and strategic Family Therapy principles, all while incorporating his personal style and the "art of medicine." He has been recognized for his contributions with the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM).
Dr Jenner has retired from clinical practice.

Dr Janie Worth brings with her over 23 years of paediatric and emergency experience to the practice, with special interest in neonatal and paediatric medical problems, but also including developmental and behavioural issues.

Dr Pallemulla is a General Paediatrician who has been involved in Paediatrics for the last 19 years. She has received training in Sri Lanka, United Kingdom and Australia.
Dr Pallemulla holds a MBBS and Diploma in child health from Sri Lanka, Membership of Royal College of Paediatrics and Diploma in Child Health in United Kingdom and Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Paediatricians in Australia. Her main interests are General Paediatrics and Developmental, Behavioural Paediatrics however referrals for various medical issues are welcomed.
Dr Pallemulla collaborates closely with families to provide an excellent service to the family. Being a mother of two adolescent children Dr Pallemulla has a good understanding of the challenges of parenting and the importance of good health care for children.
Dr Pallemulla is currently accepting new medical and behavioural patients.
Adolescent & Family Psychiatrist

Dr. Gerald (Jed) O’Brien is a psychiatrist who specialises in adolescent and youth psychiatry, with a special interest in young adults with ADHD. He generally sees young people between 13 and 30 years of age. Dr. O’Brien provides support for families and carers with a number of psychiatric disorders including; psychosis, depression, anxiety, bipolar, OCD, eating disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Personality Disorders and Learning Disorders.
Referrals for people over 30 will be accepted for issues related to diagnosed ADHD and ASD.
Dr O’Brien is currently closed to all new referrals.

Dr Niroshan Amarasiri completed his Paediatrics training in Sri Lanka, United Kingdom and further in Australia. Dr Niroshan has served several hospitals in Sri Lanka, UK , Australia and his experience expands for nearly two decades. He holds MBBS, DCH and MD- Paediatrics in Sri Lanka, MRCPCH and DCH in United Kingdom and FRACP in Australia.
Dr Niroshan has a holistic approach towards his patients and families. He firmly believes in a tailor-made approach in treating many of his patients. His special interests include behavioural and development issues, childhood growth/nutrition, constipation, anaemia, headaches and asthma. He is competent in managing childhood and adolescent behavioural issues including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and Learning Difficulties.
Dr Amarasiri is currently accepting new medical and behavioural patients.

Nadine joined Barwon Paediatrics in March 2023 as Practice Manager. Coming from a General Practice background and having extensive practice management experience, she is the right fit for the role. She is an exceptional professional, manager and leader, running the day to day operations and guiding the business to meet its future requirements. She is an amazing organiser, multi-tasker, the ‘go to person’ for all Staff and Doctors, with a library of knowledge about the Health System, Regulations, Medicare, Networks & IT.

JENNY
Jenny has worked for our Practice for over 19 years, having joined our team in 2004. Prior to this she had extensive experience in other Specialist Medical Practices. Jenny is a ‘quiet achiever’ whose easy going, warm and friendly nature is appreciated by all. Jenny’s experience sees her undertake proficiently all administration roles in the Practice, with her primary role being typing.

Brianna joined the Practice in 2016 with a strong Medical Practice Family background. She is full of energy and fun to work with, efficient, dependable and super reliable. Her bright and bubbly nature is appreciated by staff and clients alike in her role as receptionist.

Jessica joined the Practice in 2020 from a Dermatology Practice. She has a warm, engaging, friendly and professional style. This saw her adapt easily to the intricacies of our practice and the needs of our patients, and is very much appreciated by all.
